Mercury Product Protection (previously known as Qguard) provides comprehensive parts and labor reimbursement coverage for breakdown failures caused by a defect in material or workmanship. This is similar to the standard limited warranty that came with your engine but continues in effect after the original warranty has expired.

• Includes Hoist/Haul-Out Allowance of up to $200 per claim occurrence to perform approved repairs to covered Product on non-trailerable boats 31 feet in length or larger.
• Includes On Water Tow-In Allowance up to $200 per claim occurrence toward the cost of on-water towing charges necessary to perform approved repairs to covered Product.
• Includes all Quicksilver and Mercury engine related accessories such as steering, remote controls, and instrumentation (except propellers) whether factory or dealer installed.

• Includes EFI component coverage at no additional cost.

Factory-authorized service is available at any of the more than 5,000 Mercury dealers in the United States and Canada.

• The plan is backed by Mercury Marine, you are not restricted to the dealer who sold you the plan.
• Payment is made directly to the servicing dealer, no need for you to pay for the repair and wait for reimbursement.
• Genuine 100% Quicksilver and Mercury Precision replacement parts are used for repairs, no generic substitutes.
• The plan is fully transferable to subsequent owners during unexpired term.
• The amount of coverage is not limited to the current Blue Book value of the covered engine, but instead it is the suggested list price for your Mercury product at the time of original sale.
• Duplicate and repeat failures are covered.
